May 27, 2011 Spoonbills surrounded us on all sides and we didn't have a camera! Kayaking in the D.N. 'Ding' Darling Wildlife Refuge, a few weeks ago, we had decided to leave the camera behind. The watertight bag we store the camera in, as we kayak, had been left behind at the campsite. Alan's phone snapped this picture. The photo quality is not great but I think you can get a feel for how spectacular it was to be surrounded by these beautiful birds.
