Black Mountain Departure

Fall comes to Black Mountain, NC
What a change we have experienced over the past week as we made the drive south from North Carolina to home.  With highs in the mid-60's in NC, we have transitioned into the mid to high 80's in Florida.  We've gotten spoiled, so guess next year we need to stay away from the Florida even longer. (Not really.)

Between South America, Mexico, New Mexico, Maine and North Carolina, we have only been home about 2 months this year, so we have missed our friends, our home, and our bed!  The following is an assortment of pictures from the last two weeks of our stay in Black Mountain, including a drive to Virginia for the Virginia Creeper Trail (our 4th time on the trail.)  No trips are on our agenda, with the exception of family trips, for the remainder of this year.  Next year, the Galapagos, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru are part of our itinerary!
